In celebration of Merdeka Month, we’re excited to invite all young artists aged 5–17 years old
to join our JIWA MERDEKA 2025 Drawing Competition! 🇲🇾🖍

Let your child’s creativity shine while expressing what “Jiwa Merdeka” means to them —
from unity and culture to heroes and heritage!

(No templates – drawings must be original and done on the spot)

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility: Open to all Malaysian children and youths aged 5 to 17 years old.
2. Theme Compliance: All drawings must reflect the given theme: “Jiwa Merdeka 2025”, which emphasizes unity, patriotism, culture, and national identity.
3. Drawing Format:
   • Only freehand drawings are allowed (no tracing, printed templates, or digital art).
   • Participants must bring their own A3 drawing block paper, drawing/colouring tools, and a small table or lap desk.
4. Time & Venue: Participants must report to Symphony 3, IOI City Mall, Putrajaya by 9:30 AM on 17 August 2025. The competition runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
5. Original Work: All entries must be original and created on the spot. Any signs of plagiarism or pre-prepared artwork will result in disqualification.
6. Judging Criteria:
   • Creativity & originality
   • Relevance to theme
   • Artistic presentation & effort
   • Overall impression
7. Ownership & Usage: Submitted drawings may be photographed or kept by the organizer for promotional, educational, or exhibition purposes.
8. Responsibility: Organizers are not responsible for any personal belongings lost or damaged during the event.
9. Right to Disqualify: The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not adhere to the rules and guidelines.
